~ Even when possessed by selfishness the mind still thrills In the presence of holiness ~ The virtue whose call is to the suffocated heart while the limp will staggers ~ Shades its eyes from the painful light before retreating to the safety of its comfortable, darkened home. ~
. The flood of evil Never seems . To have an end Unless one chooses . To make An ark . Of holiness In a sea of pain. . 'Winter' - Poussin
. It was the realisation That God . Was for life This day . Not merely an after-death Experience . And how the challenge Of holiness . Would make me seek A better way. .
. There is more Than personal need . There is the seed Of God within . The spirit Of holiness . Calling life to transcend Its bitter end . And grow Beyond the greatest dream . That we Will ever know. .
Raised as if to draw . The universe into the orbit of holiness . The red-blood sunset speaks of suffering . Of silence Solitude . Sacrifice And gentleness.
