What connection do you feel with heaven?
The story of Jacob’s dream of the “stairway to heaven” is magical. Perhaps the best moment is this:
“God was in this place and I knew it not.”
Isn’t that true all the time?
We may be doing the most ordinary, apparently “unspiritual” thing like sleeping – as Jacob is this story – and God is in this place and we know it not.
We may be in the midst of a pandemic – and somehow God is in this place and we knew it not.
Whatever situation we are in – darkness, light, or some shade in between – God is with us in this place, and often we know it not.
And where have you found God?

Or, Where has God found me/us? Fabulous meditation, thank you. Indeed, it is the truth of every day, God is in this place, in this moment, and we know it not. So many lessons to learn from Jacob.
