Affirmation

The deepest affirmation

Of our lovableness

.

Was somehow not grasped

Misunderstood

.

Now the soul

Begins to learn

.

That all created life

Is treasured

.

By the God

Of everything

.

And the pain subsides

The sadness ceases to sting

.

And the spirit

Again can be exalted

.

And can

Sing.
